Part of our work is to care for all in need. Together with other agencies in Evesham and the surrounding villages we offer support for the homeless.
Turning Point is a leading health and social care organisation. We provide services for people with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability.
WHIT Worcestershire Homeless Intervention Team
Street outreach work with rough sleepers across Worcestershire (excluding Worcester). Also offer appointments at services throughout the county.
John Martin's Charity
Under the terms of John Martin’s original Will and the amended Charity Commission Scheme, the overall aim of the Charity is to benefit the residents of the town and neighbourhood of Evesham, Worcestershire. This is achieved through the implementation of four specific aims:
Propagation of the Christian Gospel - By assisting two Vicars and the three Parochial Church Councils within the town of Evesham
Relief in Need - assisting generally or individually, person’s resident within the town of Evesham who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress.
Promotion of education – By promoting education to persons residing within the town of Evesham and to provide benefits to schools in the town
Health – By relieving the need of those with chronic health problems and other related health issues who either live within Evesham or in the immediate surrounding area.
Caring Hands is an organisation within the Church that continually seeks to help relieve poverty and need in the Vale of Evesham. Those referred to us receive food parcels, toiletry packs, bedding, clothing, sleeping bags and blankets free of charge depending on their circumstances. People can also receive a free hot meal twice a week at the Caring Hands Diner.
Referrals include people on low incomes, in severe debt and have benefit issues, single parent families, ex-offenders, families of offenders, homeless/rough sleepers, people with addiction problems and mental health problems and also in crisis situations such as illness, injury, relationship breakdown and bereavement.
Caring Hands operates through the Church and networks with many community organisations.

We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of poverty as well as its root causes.
Asum Group of Churches
All the churches in the town of Evesham work together as members of the ASUM Group. The group is made up of the Benefice of Hampton with Sedgeberrow and Hinton-on-the-Green, The Benefice of Evesham with Norton and Lenchwick and the Parish of Bengeworth.
The priests, Mark Binney and Andrew Spurr, work together. For example each year one of the church will host a Confirmation Service for candidates from across the Group. Also during Lent and Holy Week the congregations come together.
