Time 10.00a.m. Every Sunday.

Venue - Church House, next to All Saints.

We are always delighted to see new children of three years old upwards – just come along.  If a parent wants to come in with a child that's fine too.

The basis of our activities is taken from Spirit Seasons, which in turn takes its themes from the reading being used in church that Sunday.  The usual sequence of the morning is a chat about who did what during the previous week and time to catch up with friends.  There is then normally a story from the bible, prayers and lighting of a candle.  Then it’s time to build on the story with some fun crafts (cooking, messy painting, glue, glitter) a game, a quiz and occasionally some singing.  Any birthdays are celebrated with the sharing of a chocolate cake.

The children and adults rejoin the congregation halfway through the Sunday service to share what they have learnt .is helps them to feel part of the church as well as being in time to receive Communion or a blessing. After the service we chat over a drink and a biscuit.

Junior Church is staffed by CRB checked leaders and helpers in accordance with the requirements of the Diocese of Worcester.
